Get Money Back from Amazon

Many retailers offer money back guarantees if you purchase a product and the price goes down shortly after you’ve bought it. Even Amazon does it! It’s simple to get a refund from them, just call their customer service (1-800-201-7575) and ask about their 30-day price guarantee. (For faster service hit “7″ to talk to a real human, or a really good impersonation of one.)
Simple right? Problem is you have to determine that the price has dropped yourself. For someone who buys a lot on Amazon this can be a big headache. How many times do you look at the price after you’ve bought something? That’s how Amazon can do the guarantee, very few people actually call about the refund.
Now there’s a simpler way. It’s called RefundPlease.com. This ingenious site is easy to use, and doesn’t even require you to sign up to use the service. You can track any item sold by Amazon, all you need is the ISBN number (for books) or the ASIN if it’s anything else they sell.
There’s one form on the site. Enter the ASIN (or ISBN), the date you purchased (so the site can stop checking after 30 days), the price you paid, your email address. That’s it. You can use it for as many items as you want and you’ll get an email when the price drops so you can contact Amazon and get a refund.

Didn’t know you could get a refund. Guess I should start checking my buys on Amazon. I do a lot of shopping with that site. Would be nice to get money back. Thanks for the information.
