What I Read Today

January 8th, 2007 by digerati

Here’s the things I read today that are worth looking at:

  • Ben Stein on Investment strategies for 2007. Mr. Stein talks about how the Euro and the currencies of emerging markets are going to continue to strengthen against the dollar.
  • CNN Money on bill to repeal the AMT. Three Senators moved to repeal the Alternative Minimum Tax. The bill would make the 2006 tax year the last year for AMT.
  • Lessons from the Apprentice. The site owner wrote a book about what he learned from watching the Apprentice. Interesting and in depth. Apparently, he couldn’t find a publisher because Trump (et al) published a book under the same title about the same time.
  • Slate on the Duke rape prosecutor. Slate’s take on how the prosecutor has gone too far in this case. Basically they realize there is no evidence of anything, and the questionable accusers made up all the charges. Never the less , he continues to attempt to ruin 3 young people’s lives.
