The Easiet Way to Reduce Calories and Lose Weight

Researchers are saying more and more that a low calorie diet can help prevent disease and increase longevity. This means that if you are healthy, you could be even healthier in the long term from reducing the number of calories you consume.
Of course given the obesity epidemic in the US, it wouldn’t hurt most of us to reduce calories just to lose some weight. Their are only two ways to lose weight: eat fewer calories than you use, or cut off part of your body. Catch a Gideon recommends only the first method of weight loss.
What’s the easiest way to reduce the number of calories you take in? Just don’t drink any. That means:
- No orange juice
- No alcohol
- No Gatorade
- No Frappaccino
- No sugar in your coffee or tea
- No milk in your coffee or tea
- No Red Bull
- No Jamba Juice
- No non-diet soda
- No hot chocolate
“But I can’t have breakfast without my orange juice!”
Yes, you can.
“But I can’t wake up with out my triple sweetened coffee!”
Yes you can. (Better yet, try vitamins and antioxidents!)
“It’s so few calories it doesn’t matter.”
Do the math. That twice a bottle of soda habit you have adds up to a hundred thousand calories a year. And yes, that’s almost 35 pounds.
“That’s no way to live”
Maybe not, but it is certainly a healthier way to live. I challenge you to give up any drinks with sugar or sweetness to them for a week. After that most of them will be too sweet to drink anyway.

Interesting! But doesn’t orange juice give you lots of vitamin C that can only be gotten through orange juice–in other words, naturally? Diet sodas, although they do not contain sugar have been shown to increase appetite–so you eat more because you feel hungry. Not sure if this is the way to go for losing weight. I like the no sugar drinks, but disagree with using diet sodas and eliminating orange juice.JMHO
